Made circa 1865-1888 and often referred to as the "Saw Handle Derringer". 2 line company address and patent dates on the top of the octagonal portion of the barrel. "102" batch serial number on the barrel. Half round, half octagonal barrel standard, with brass pin front sight. Barrel is factory blued, with the frame portion factory nickeled. Original rose wood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with a nice patina starting to form on the barrel and frame. Grips are very good with minor handling marks. Barrel is frosted, but retains very good overall rifling. Tight hammer. Mechanically fine. Hard to find in this condition! JWA
