A magnificent oil on canvas framed landscape painting, titled “Silent Glades” by John F. Carlson (1875 - 1947). He was a Swedish-American Impressionist painter. Signed by artist in the lower-right corner, titled on the back of the frame. Frame comes with a plaque located on the front bottom, stating artist name and birth/death years. The canvas is mounted within a stunning heavily ornate gold gilt molded wood frame. It is in excellent vintage condition, with wear commensurate with age and use.
