Made circa 1880s, most likely as a copy of the J. Stevens made Gem. No markings minus the serial number on the frame and "GEM" on the top of the barrel. 2 part barrel with no sights. Nickel plated frame most likely being brass. Other parts are blued. Oiled walnut grips, possibly being not original to the gun. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its finish with some general wear and freckling on the nickeled surfaces. Grips are excellent. Bore is heavily frosted with fair rifling. Tight hammer, being mechanically fine. JWA
