Lot consist of: (A) Iver Johnson single shot derringer. Made circa 1870-1890. Matching serials on the barrel and frame. Half round, half octagon barrel with no sights. Nickel plated finish and blued hammer/trigger. Varnished wood panels on a bird's head grip. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its finish with general wear and some nicks in the finish. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore is heavily frosted with light pitting. No visible rifling. Tight hammer being mechanically fine. (B) Iver Johnson single shot derringer. Made circa 1870-1890. Matching serials on the barrel and frame. Half round, half octagon barrel with no sights. Nickel plated frame, the barrel being blued. Case colored hammer/trigger. Varnished wood panels on a birds head grip. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with most of the finish on the barrel being worn off. Frame has some minor flaking. Grips have minor scratches. Bore is heavily frosted, with no rifling. Tight hammer, being mechanically fine. JWA
