Made circa early 1860s. 3 line patent, company, and model markings on the top of the barrel. Numerous inspector letter stamps throughout. Left grip has inspector cartouche. Matching serials on the inside of the butt, barrel and penciled on both grips. Octagon barrel with blade front sight and v-notch frame rear. Original blued finish in areas. Grips have their original light oil finish. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish, with a brown patina forming in areas where finish is absent. Grips have minor handling marks. Bore is very clean with strong rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight, preforming correctly on half and full cock. Nipples are well formed showing little signs of dry firing.
