Made 1958. Single line company address on the top of the barrel, with the left side marked, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Original patent dates and rampant Colt pony on the right side of the trigger guard. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and U-notch rear sight. Factory blued finishes on the barrel, cylinder, and grip straps, with the frame being beautifully case colored. Period imitation stag grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finishes, with light holster wear on the barrel. Grips have only a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder.
