Manufactured circa 1946 to 1949 by the Ruger Corporation, a company founded by Bill Ruger which intended to produce both firearms parts and tools prior to its bankruptcy and the formation of the modern Sturm, Ruger & Co. The ergonomic pistol grip shape of this hand powered drill certainly foreshadows the form of Rugers Standard Model and Mark Series pistols introduced in 1949. CONDITION: NRA Good retaining portions of original finish with oxidation spots throughout the body.
