Lot consists of: (A) World War I Victory Medal with 5 battle clasps: Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, and Defensive Sector. Medals with these 5 claps are consistent with the unit histories of the 26th and 42nd Divisions. Slight fraying. (B) WWI Victory Medal with 5 battle clasps, same as (A). Slight fraying. (C) WWI Victory Medal with 4 battle clasps: Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, and Defensive Sector. Missing brooch, heavy fraying. (D) WWI Victory Medal with 4 battle clasps: Ypres-Lys, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, and Defensive Sector. Brooch torn and reattached by clasp, ribbon exhibits fading and discoloration. (E) WWI Victory Medal with Transport battle clasp. fraying at brooch, decent colors on ribbon. (F) WWI Victory Medal with Sub Chaser battle clasp. Heavy fraying on ribbon, discoloration on medal, clasp, and ribbon. CONDITION: Overall fair-very good. PROVENANCE: Roger Bender Collection. JLD
