Lot consists of: (A) Prisoner of War Medal engraved on the reverse to Charles R. Lovin, who served in the US Army, and was held as a Prisoner of War after he was captured during the Korean War on September 18, 1952. Lovin was released on September 3, 1953 after the signing of the Armistice. CONDITION: Very good. (B) World War II Good Conduct Medal engraved to Yrineo P. Marrufo with GEMSCO / Sterling marked CIB. Marrufo served in the US Army during WWII and passed away in 2003. CONDITION: Very good. (C) Small medal grouping which consists of a World War I Victory Medal, Philippine Insurrection Medal numbered "M. No. 8780", and Spanish American War Veterans Medal. CONDITION: The Victory Medal ribbon exhibits fraying at brooch, Philippine Insurrection Medal is missing brooch. Overall good. (D) Small medal grouping which consists of a Mexican Border Service Medal, WWI Victory Medal with France clasp, 2 WWI dog tags, nice GEMSCO clutch back DI, and Savannah Honorable Service on the Mexican Border Medal. The group is named to Thomas J. Thorne who served as a Lieutenant in the 116th Field Artillery Battalion. Mexican Border Service Medal is numbered "23818" and registers to Thorne in the medal rolls. CONDITION: Fraying on the Victory Medal at brooch. Overall good. (E) Small WWI Medal Grouping of John A. Gange, who served in the Medical Corps during WWI. The grouping consists of 3 Type I collar discs, 6 buttons, WWI Victory Medal with Salisbury clasp, and very nice dog tag with his information. CONDITION: Fraying on the Victory Medal at brooch.
