Desirable example of a World War II US Marine Corps Pattern 41 Fatigue Jacket with applied theater camouflage. The jacket is in standard P41 configuration with 1 upper and 2 lower pockets, with the upper pocket featuring the correct USMC stamp. No visible markings wit the exception of the initials "McH" inside the collar. Unlike many other P41 jackets, this example features a theater camouflaged splotch pattern which was applied using bleach. Very interesting, yet attractive camouflage application which is seldom encountered on similar gear and uniform pieces. CONDITION: The jacket retains 4 of its original USMC metal buttons, 1 on the center, 2 on the right sleeve, and 1 on the left sleeve. One of the center buttons was replaced by a generic USGI brown plastic button. The colors remain vibrant, with obvious fading in the bleached areas. USMC stamp also exhibits fading. Heavier wear on the button holes. There are 2 holes on each lapel, possibly indicating where EGAs were once pinned. A few frayed areas and scuffs with light stains. Overall good. A very nice example of a theater camouflaged P41 jacket which would enhance a USMC or theater camouflage collection. JLD
