Lot consists of: (A) World War II British military issued spotting telescope. These spotting telescopes were introduced in 1939 for the purpose of being issued to British and Commonwealth snipers with the Lee Enfield No. 4T rifle. This example is a 3 draw with anti-glare sliding eyepiece shield. The telescope is appropriately marked by "H.C.R. & Son" on the brass body and Broad Arrow marked. Complete with leather covers and reproduction leather straps. Also comes with second eyepiece marked "Low". CONDITION: Brass components exhibit a pleasant patina with wear from use. Missing one leather securing piece on the body, the other is loose on one side. Leather remains pliable. Optics are clear. Overall very good. (B) WWII British MKIII compass marked "T.G. Co. LTD / LONDON" and dated "1940" contained in a leather carry case marked "M. HARVEY & Co. LTD" and dated "1935". CONDITION: Light handling wear, clean glass cover. Leather case remains pliable. Overall very good. (C) British Army watch marked "GS/TP / XX 189796" and Broad Arrow marked on the reverse as well as "DAMAS" and "SWISS MADE" on the face. CONDITION: Functions when wound. Handling wear, scratches on glass. Overall good. JLD
