Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle. Made 1895 (per the Winchester Collectors website). 2 line company address on the barrel in front of the rear sight. Model and patent dates on the tang. Full octagon barrel and magazine tube. Blade front sight and buckhorn u-notch rear. Factory blued finish. Oiled stock and forearm. Forearm was sanded at some point. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its finish, with light wear and some patina forming. Stock has a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is very clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
