Medalist semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Browning. The left side of the barrel is stamped "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY" with the right side being stamped "MADE IN BELGIUM 22 L.R.". Bottom of barrel is stamped with "BROWNING'S PATENT". Belgian proofs are present on the left side of the slide as well as on the bottom of the barrel. Features include a blue finish, 6 - 3/4" heavy barrel, vent rib, target adjustable rear sight, blade front sight, as well as a checkered walnut thumb rest grip. Pistol is accompanied by a factory case featuring a red velvet interior and containing its cartridge block, weights, and screw driver. Case lid's nameplate is blank. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting only a few minute marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, showing well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut thumb rest grip is very good, exhibiting some scattered handling marks overall. Case exhibits some light external wear and minor losses at the corners, but is otherwise fine. MLW
