Model 1910/21 manufactured by Haerens Tojhus in Denmark. This example, manufactured during the first year of production, was part of the first batch of 900 Model 1910/21 pistols domestically produced in Denmark between 1922-1924. The left side of the receiver is stamped with (what appears to be) a German "(Eagle) / WaA66) waffenamt followed by "HAERENS TOJHUS" above "1910/21". Right side of receiver and barrel rib bear an inverted Danish crown and "22" stamp, indicating acceptance in 1922. Right side of frame bears a "5156" Danish inventory number, with "RKV. / 314" on the bottom, just forward of the magazine well. Major metal components are blued, while some smaller components are in the white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, safety lever, receiver/barrel lug, rear sight, bolt assembly, firing pin, as well as the locking block. Grips are arsenal renumbered to match, with their previous serial number "998" having been lined out. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear showing through to gray patina as well as scattered areas of heavy inactive oxidation overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting moderate inactive oxidation and retains strong rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing as well as scattered nicks and dings from storage and handling, but are otherwise fine. A very early production example of a Danish Model 1910/21 semi-automatic pistol. MLW
