1885 vintage Colt Single Action Army Frontier Six Shooter, serial number 116959. Chambered in the cross compatible .44-40 WCF cartridge with 4 - 3/4" barrel marked with 2-line address and roll stamped "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Blade front sight and frame notch rear. Standard 6-shot fluted cylinder. Fit with a pair of aftermarket imitation stag grips. CONDITION: Fair. Revolver exhibits a well worn even chemical brown patina with some areas of cleaned oxidation. Markings are faint with back strap not matching. Left grip has a chip at toe. Frosted bore displaying well defined rifling. Good mechanics. BAS
