Woodsman .22 LR pistol manufactured by Colt in 1932. The left side of the frame is stamped "THE WOODSMAN", with the left side of the slide stamped "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC/ CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt logo. Top of barrel bears Colt's 2-line address. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. The 6 - 5/8" barrel features an adjustable bead front sight, with the slide exhibiting a dovetailed adjustable "U" notch rear sight. CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some spots of minor wear showing lightly through to silvering, as well as scattered nicks and marks from storage and handling. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some mild smoothing as well as a few nicks to the diamonds and a couple minor impressions. MLW
