Woodsman .22 LR pistol manufactured by Colt in 1931. The left side of the frame is stamped "THE WOODSMAN", with the left side of the slide stamped "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC/ CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. The 6 - 5/8" barrel features a patridge front sight, with the slide exhibiting a dovetailed adjustable square notch rear sight. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting few small areas of light wear and few minor superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Grips show some smoothing and a few scattered nicks to the diamonds, but are otherwise fine. MLW
