Woodsman .22 LR pistol manufactured by Colt in 1931. The left side of the frame is stamped "THE WOODSMAN", with the left side of the slide stamped "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC / CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. The 6 - 5/8" barrel features a patridge front sight, with the slide exhibiting a dovetailed adjustable square notch rear sight. Pistol is accompanied by an original green hangtag. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original applied blue finish, exhibiting some minor areas of wear overall. Front grip strap has been touched up at one point in time. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show moderate smoothing overall, with some scattered nicks to the diamonds. MLW
