Woodsman .22 LR pistol manufactured by Colt 1922. The top of the barrel is stamped with Colt's 2-line address, with the left side of the slide stamped "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC / CAL.22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. 6 - 5/8" barrel features a partridge front sight, with the slide being mounted with a dovetailed adjustable "U" notch rear sight. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some scattered spots of minor wear, as well as a few scattered marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Grips show mild smoothing to the checkering and a couple scattered nicks to diamonds, but are otherwise fine. MLW
