DST. Sign is Maker Marked A.M. & Dated 1945. A beautiful example of this scarce piece of Tin Advertising from Pontiac showing Pontiac Parts script as well as full feathered Native American graphic throughout each side. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding condition showing bright and excellent color & gloss with a clean field & graphic. Side one shows a couple of very minimal pecks in the center field as well as some very minimal surface scratch. Side one shows some very minimal color match in the blue of the top left edge as well as a small color match at the bottom right corner. Side one shows brilliant color and displays excellent, Grade 8.9+. Side two also is in excellent condition throughout showing bright color & gloss in the red & blue with some minor age staining in the off-white coloring. Side two shows some light cardboard staining in the white as well as some very minimal pecks in the field but is overall very clean. Side two shows some minimal surface scratching in the outer field and shows a clean outer edge as well as feather graphic with only a few light spots of wear, Grade 8.5. A beautiful example of seldom seen advertising from Pontiac that displays outstanding.
