SSP. An excellent example of this early and seldom seen Porcelain Sign from Shell advertising "Shellubrication". Sign features iconic Shell yellow & red colors and shows an embossed self-framed outer edge. CONDITION: Sign shows excellent color & gloss through the field showing a mint condition Clamshell graphic as well as super clean lettering throughout. Sign shows three added small mounting holes in the center field each of which show some light chipping. The outer self-framed edge is in very good condition as well showing just a few light areas of minor chipping mostly at the corners and the outer mounting holes show light chipping. The Sign lays flat and overall displays outstanding and is an unmistakable piece of unique Shell Service Station advertising.
