SSP. Sign is Maker Marked Baltimore Enamel. An absolutely outstanding example of this rare and highly sought-after Circa 1930's Porcelain Sign from Hood Tires. A very difficult piece to find in high-grade, this is one of the finest examples of this Sign we have ever sold. CONDITION: Sign shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the chip free field showing bold script with excellent detail. Sign shows a few light areas of minor surface scratching in the field but overall outstanding throughout with no major wear. Sign shows areas of light chipping scattered along the outer edge mostly at the corners, none of which are overly distracting. Sign shows some chipping at the bottom edge underneath the Flagman's feet but it's also non-distracting from the clean field. Sign shows a clean cap & face as well as all of its original grommets and overall would be very tough to improve upon. An absolutely stunning example of rare figural Service Station Advertising from Hood Tires.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (9.0).

Item Dimensions: 71" X 24".
