SSP. An incredibly clean example of this rare and seldom seen Porcelain Sign from Mohawk Gasoline showing the iconic Mohawk Native American graphic as well as Mohawk Script. This outstanding condition piece is mounted on the original metal can which shows its original red paint with an outstanding patina. CONDITION: Sign is an absolutely incredible condition showing outstanding color & gloss throughout the field with a bright and clean Mohawk Native American graphic as well as mint condition Mohawk porcelain script. Sign shows a few light areas of very minor cloudiness in the upper white Porcelain as well as some very minimal wear near the insulator & mounting holes. Sign shows its original insulators as well as a majority of its original mounting screws. Sign lights up beautifully in bright red neon throughout the lettering and at the outer edge of the Native American graphic. Sign shows an extremely clean outer edge with only one area of light chipping at the far right edge as well as some minimal areas of surface wear. Sign is mounted on its original can which shows it's original red paint and is free of any major wear and displaying the piece very well with an excellent age & patina throughout. Most likely the finest known example of this rare Porcelain Sign from Mohawk Gasoline and a wonderful example of unique Neon Service Station Signage.
