DSP. An outstanding example of this beautiful Circa 1930's Porcelain Lollipop Sign from Mobil showing a large Pegasus graphic on each side as well as its original Socony base. CONDITION: Side one shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the field with a clean Pegasus graphic as well as clean Mobiloil script. Side one shows two very light nicks near the back legs of the Pegasus graphic but overall displays outstanding. Side one shows a clean outer field as well as outer edge and overall displays very well, Grade 9.0. Side two also shows outstanding color and gloss throughout the field showing a mint condition Pegasus graphic as well as clean lettering. Side two shows one chip near the "O" of Mobiloil but overall is very clean and displays outstanding. Side two shows very minimal wear along the outer edge and overall displays outstanding, Grade 8.9+. Sign shows an excellent condition repainted frame as well as pole and base and shows it's correct Socony stamped base. A beautiful example of this iconic Service Station Sign from Mobil.
