SSP. A very clean and well displaying example of this scarce c. 1930's porcelain Flagman for Hood Tires, a very tough to find piece in high grade. CONDITION: Sign shows overall excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing an excellent condition face & chest with no areas of field creasing. Sign shows some minimal chipping along the outer edge of the upper field, but is overall excellent. Below the flag the piece shows some moderate chipping with one light area of creasing at the right foot. The outer edges of the lower field show some heavier edge chipping as well as some minimal staining, but overall the piece displays very well. A beautiful displaying piece of rare service station signage for Hood Tires.
