SST. Sign is Maker Marked Stout Sign Company, St. Louis, Missouri. Rare C. 1930's Tin Service Station Sign for Hood Tires showing "Bowtie" style Flagman graphic with "Authorized Hood Dealer" in the Flag. CONDITION: Sign is in very good condition overall showing an outstanding condition Flagman graphic with just a minimal amount of surface scratching as well as some minimal fading in the blue. Sign shows excellent color in the white with only a few minimal scratches. The lower portion of the Sign where it reads "Hood Tires" shows some significant scratching from what appears to be excessive cleaning. The lettering is completely legible showing just minor scratch and the blue has faded out some but overall displays nicely. Sign shows minor scratching along the outer edge and shows an added oak outer frame that displays with the piece very well. A significantly rare piece of Hood Tire Service Station Signage.
