SST. A very seldom seen Circa 1940's Painted Tin Pump Plate for Life Ethyl Gasoline, a product of Barnett Oil Company, Clovis, New Mexico. Pump Plate features thick screened paint on galvanized tin showing unique colors with Ethyl Burst graphic. CONDITION: Sign shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field showing only minor areas of light wear in the paint of the inner field. Sign shows very minimal paint wear at the four mounting holes as well as some very light wear along the outer edge but overall excellent. These Pump Plates crudely made and finding one with excellent condition paint and minimal wear such as this one is very difficult. A tough to improve upon example of this unique piece from Life Gasoline.
