U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company between December 1944 and June 1945. 18" military finished round barrel with correct "W" proof, milled unmarked front sight, correct "C" marked Type III barrel band and Type III sight. All internal parts consistent with Winchester production. Winchester action with "W" marked round bolt, Winchester trigger group, and correct internals. Uncut, walnut, low wood, oval cut Winchester marked stock with G.H.D. /W.R.A. / Crossed Cannons inspector marks. Correct 4-rivet handguard with incorrect "U" marking inside. Appears to be all Winchester except the handguard. Comes with vintage sling, oiler, and 15 round "UI" marked flat bottom magazine. CONDITION: Overall good with wood having been cleaned and a small notch made for ease of access for the oiler. Good mechanics with good bore and a ME of 1. DLM
