DST. A very scarce piece of Circa 1940's Tin Service Station Signage from Shell Gasoline & Motor Oils advertising "Home Clean Rest Rooms". Sign shows a large Shell with light bursting graphic throughout each side. CONDITION: Side one is in overall excellent condition showing excellent color & gloss with a few minor areas of paint nicks in the field as well as some moderate areas of light staining and paint loss along the outer edge, Grade 8.5+. Side two also shows excellent colors with average areas of surface scratching and light paint loss in the field with areas of staining at the lower edge and minor areas of paint loss along the outer edge. Grade 8.0+. Although the piece shows some minimal areas of wear it displays very well and is a scarce piece of Shell Tin Signage.
