German 1930s Mauser ES340 B training rifle in .22LR made by "Mauser - Werke A.G. OBERNDORF a.N.". Marked as such, plus "PATRONE .22 LONG RIFLE" on sides of the receiver with "BUG" proofs, and the serial number "166198" on the barrel, receiver, and bolt (6198). Heavy Mauser target barrel with target rear sight adjustable to 200 meters, as well as windage, with a removable front sight blade. Checkering on bottom of trigger guard. Walnut stock and handguard with the MAUSER logo embossed on the right rear. Both sling swivels are present. Rear butt plate is steel in the white. A 1930s Third Reich era shooting match sticker is present under the rifle behind the grip, but is illegible. CONDITION: Rifle is overall excellent and retains 90+% of its blued finish, with most of the wear on the bolt handle. Walnut stock has light scratches and light pressure dings throughout. Butt plate has patina and light freckling. Bore is bright, trigger functions correctly, and rifle is mechanically sound. WEZ
