Circa early 20th century British Royal Artillery Lieutenant's universal service frock coat and trousers. The jacket is constructed of fine dark blue wool and lined with rayon. The frock coat is of double breasted design and features bullion lieutenant rank on each epaulette as well as thick bullion grenades on each side of the high collar which compliment the Royal Artillery buttons. Most buttons are marked "JENNENS & CO. LONDON" with a few marked by various other makers. The waist features brass belt hooks to accommodate a belt. An unmarked brown belt with sword hanger accompanies the set. Trousers are of equal construction to the frock coat but are not lined with rayon. The trousers feature plastic buttons which are marked "PULFORD 65 ST. JAMES ST S.W.". CONDITION: The jacket is very clean overall and does not exhibit any major mothing or blemishes. Trousers are equally clean with a few scuffs to the red felt trim. Belt remains supple with minor blemishes. Overall very good.
