SST. Sign is Maker Marked American Artworks, Coshocton, Ohio. One of the finer and complete examples of this Circa 1920's Tin Service Station Sign from Weed Chains we have sold. Sign shows a large Automotive Wheel graphic as well as original spinning Gasoline To-Day Pricer Wheel and wooden frame backing. CONDITION: Sign is in overall very good condition for its age showing very good color & gloss throughout the field with clean graphics and lettering. Sign shows some minor areas of light surface scratch as well as some very minimal rust stain marks on the Pricer Wheel as well as in the lower field. Sign shows a clean outer edge with only a few minor areas of light paint scratching and the original wooden backing is also in excellent condition showing no damage. The piece displays very well and has an excellent aged look to it with no heavy damages. A beautiful piece of early Service Station Advertising from Weed Chains.
