DST. Sign is Maker Marked A.M. & Dated 1950. A bright and clean example of this scarce Tin Service Station Sign from Oilzum Motor Oils showing bright colors as well as iconic "Oswald The Driver" graphic. Sign is most likely New Old Stock and any wear has come from storage. CONDITION: Side one is in absolutely outstanding condition showing incredible color and gloss throughout the field with clean lettering as well as a clean graphic. Side one shows minor scratching in the "O" of Oilzum as well as some minor areas of light surface scratches in the outer field. Side one shows one in minor area of light paper marking above the "Z" of Oilzum but overall displays incredibly well with a clean outer edge, Grade 9.0. Side two also shows outstanding color and gloss but does show areas of surface scratching in the field as well as along the outer edge. Side two shows a mint condition Oswald The Driver graphic as well as a super clean outer edge free of any wear. Sign shows its original brass grommets and overall displays incredibly well. A very bright and eye-appealing piece of advertising from Oilzum Motor Oils.
