DSP. A very rare and early Circa 1930's Porcelain Sign from Shell Gasoline & Motor Oils advertising, "Night Lubrication". Sign features unique Shell orange & red porcelain as well as black & white. CONDITION: Side one is in overall very nice condition showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with four areas of chipping in the inner field as well as scattered minimal flea bites in the black porcelain. Side one shows chipping at the four mounting holes with a clean outer edge, Grade 8.0. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with clean and unique lettering. Side two shows four areas of chipping in the field as well as scattered minimal pecking throughout the field. Side two shows chipping at the four mounting holes with a clean outer edge, Grade 8.0. A very scarce piece of Shell Service Station Signage that rarely comes up for sale.
