Model 70S manufactured by Beretta in 1982 and imported by Berben Corporation. Left side of slide bears stampings stipulating Beretta's manufacturer information as well as the caliber designation, with the right side bearing Berben Corporation's importer information, as well as the model designation. Right side of trigger guard web bears Italian proofs and an Italian date code "AI" (1982). Metal components are blued, with the frame being mounted with 2-piece Beretta logo checkered black plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some scattered marks from handling and storage overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of what appears to be very light surface oxidation and retains well defined rifling throughout. Grips show scattered nicks and marks, but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
