SSP. An outstanding example of this tough to find in high grade Circa 1920's Porcelain Sign from Fyre Drop Gasoline, a product of the W.H. Barber & Co., Chicago, Illinois. Sign features unique Fyre Drop Gasoline lettering as well as Fireball explosion graphic in the center with the phrase, "Starts Quickly - Explodes Completely". CONDITION: Sign is in overall outstanding condition showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with only very minimal wear. Sign shows two very light BB chips in the field as well as some minor areas of light cloudiness in the black porcelain, most of which is not noticeable. Sign shows clean outer edge mounting holes with one factory flaw at the left edge. The far outer edge shows only a few minor areas of light wear an overall displays outstanding. A very tough to find piece in high-grade and an excellent example of unique and early American Service Station Advertising.
