DSP. A very early and seldom seen piece of advertising for Oakland & Pontiac Automobiles advertising "Service" in the center of each side. CONDITION: Side one shows outstanding color and gloss with the field showing clean lettering as well as nice shelving between each color. Side one shows some minor areas of surface scratching as well as one light chip near the lower edge. Side one shows some minor chipping along the outer edge but overall excellent, Grade 8.9+. Side two is also in excellent condition showing excellent color and gloss throughout the field with clean lettering and deep Cobalt Blue color. Side two shows one minimal chip in the center field as well as some light surface scratching in the gloss. Side two also shows two areas of chipping along the outer edge that have been touched up in a lighter shade of blue. The outer edge of side two is in good condition and the Sign shows all four of its original gromments, Grade 8.75+. A very bright and glossy example of this early and seldom seen Sign from Oakland Pontiac.
