DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Veribrite Signs - Chicago. An incredibly clean example of this early Circa 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign from Cities Service. Sign features Cities Service block lettering as well as Cloverleaf & Triangle graphic. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color and gloss throughout the field with no areas of chipping. Side one shows a few light areas of surface scratch as well as one minor stain mark in the lower left field but overall excellent. Side one shows some light wear along the outer edge but overall excellent throughout, Grade 9.0. Side two is also in outstanding condition showing excellent color and gloss throughout the field with clean lettering as well as a clean Clover graphic. Side two shows some very minimal factory flaw imperfections in the porcelain as well as one light nick in the lower right field but overall outstanding throughout. Side two shows very minimal wear along the outer edge and the Sign is mounted in the original iron ring showing original silver paint. An extremely nice example that would be very tough to upgrade.
