Standard configuration Hi Power semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Fabrique Nationale while under German occupation during World War II. The left side of the frame bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer information followed by an eagle firing proof, as well as an "(Eagle) / WaA140" waffenamt. Left side of frame bears an additional firing proof and "(Eagle) / WaA140" waffenamt. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, and barrel. Pistol is accompanied brown leather "clg/44" stamped leather holster containing 1 spare magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain traces of their original arsenal applied blue finish, with the balance turning a mottled gray and brown patina overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting scattered areas of oxidation and retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips show a few scattered handling marks, but are otherwise fine. Holster is very good, being still malleable and showing minor exterior wear overall. MLW
