37M semi-automatic pistol manufactured by FEG in Hungary. Left side of slide bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer information and the model designation, while the left side of the trigger guard web is stamped with a St. Stephen's Crown acceptance proof (thought to be a non-military Hungarian proof), which is also present on the barrel lug at the muzzle. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece serrated wood grips. Pistol is accompanied by a brown leather Hungarian holster containing 2 additional magazines. CONDITION: Metal components retain good amounts of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray and brown patina, as well as mild surface oxidation overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting pitting and fair to good rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise fine. Holster is good, with the leather malleable and the stitching tight. MLW
