Model PP manufactured by Walther during World War II. The left side of the slide bears the Walther banner logo followed by markings stipulating the caliber and model designations, as well as an "(Eagle) / 359" waffenamt, which is also present on the left side of the frame. German "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof is present on the slide, chamber, and barrel. Metal components exhibit a dull blue finish, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic Walther banner grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame and slide. Pistol is accompanied by a 1942 dated Shambach & Co. brown leather PPK holster containing 1 spare magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting some mild wear and some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing to the checkering and a few minor nicks to the diamonds, but are otherwise fine. Holster is excellent. MLW
