Model 1922 manufactured by Fabrique Nationale under contract for the French Navy in 1932. The left side of the slide and frame bear typical manufacturer stampings, with the top of the slide bearing an anchor. Metal components are properly French arsenal refinished, exhibiting a gray parkerized finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood "FN" logo grips. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, barrel bushing, as well as the barrel. Pistol is accompanied by an unmarked brown leather holster. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their French arsenal applied finish, exhibiting high edge wear showing through to silvering as well as areas of silvering on the barrel bushing. Bore is bright, exhibiting inactive oxidation and strong rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing, with a crack on the right grip panel. Holster is very good overall. MLW
