DST. Sign is maker-marked A.M. & dated 1948. A very clean most likely new old stock example of this scarce service station flange sign from Pennzoil showing "Sound Your Z" slogan across the top as well as iconic bell graphic. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding with brilliant color & gloss showing just a few faint surface scratches at the lower left. Side two is also outstanding showing a bright and crisp field free of any wear. Side two shows some minimal rust stain marks along the top side, but are not overly distracting. The flange portion of the side is overall outstanding showing just minimal age wear. A brilliant example that would be tough to upgrade.
