DSP. Scarce and highly sought after C. 1920's United Motors Service Porcelain Sign showing "Two Chain" attachment for Hyatt Roller Bearings & New Departure Ball Bearings as well as early Car graphic. CONDITION: Side one shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field showing an incredible graphic as well as unique script. Side one shows only one minor nick just above the Car graphic as well as some minor areas of light nicks along the outer edge. The mounting holes are very clean showing just light wear, Grade 9.0. Side two also shows brilliant color & gloss throughout with just a minimal amount of faint surface scratch and showing two small chips in the inner field. Side two shows an outstanding condition lower field with only minimal nicks along the outer edge. Side two shows minor chipping at the right mounting hole and overall displays incredibly well, Grade 8.75+. An excellent glossy example of this highly sought after Sign from United Motors.
