SSP. An outstanding example of this colorful and iconic c. 1930's porcelain pump plate from Signal Gasoline, a product of Signal Oil & Gas, Los Angeles, California. Sign features an excellent "Red Light" graphic as well as unique Signal script. CONDITION: Sign is in outstanding condition overall, showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with clean graphic & script. Sign shows only a few very minimal surface scratches with all four original grommets present. The outer edges are extremely clean and overall the piece displays very well. A beautiful example of early west coast gasoline advertising.
