DSP. Scarce c. 1920's porcelain visible pump paddle sign for Shell Gasoline, showing early-style script and fluted pattern. CONDITION: Sign is overall fair throughout, showing clean lettering. Side one shows very good color & gloss, with side two showing light areas of noticeable fading. Sign shows moderate wear and chipping along the entire outer edge, and the paddle portion has been removed. Although the piece shows significant wear, it is extremely scarce and has an excellent patina-type look to it.
