DSP. An incredibly rare piece of c. 1930's porcelain signage from Veltex Motor Oils, a product of Fletcher Oil Company, Boise, Idaho. This very unique porcelain rack sign shows "100% Pennsylvania" written on side one with "100% Parrafine Base" written on side two and is most likely the finest known example. CONDITION: Side one is in simply outstanding condition throughout, showing beautiful orange & blue Veltex colors with excellent color & gloss. Side one shows some very minimal surface wear as well as some very minimal corner edge nicks but overall outstanding, Grade 9.0+. Side two also shows incredible color & gloss throughout the field with excellent colors as well as super clean Veltex script. Side two shows only minimal surface wear most likely from storage as well as some very faint wear along the outer edge, Grade 9.0+. Sign shows both of its original grommets present. A very tough to beat example of this rare piece from Veltex Motor Oils, most likely the finest known example.
