Scarce two-tone variation of the USP Compact in Variant 3 configuration with decocker on left side, no safety. Trijicon 3-dot tritium night sights, tritium depleted. Appropriately trimmed hammer. Normal HK rollmarks stipulating model and caliber, with German nitro proof, KH date code for 1987, Ulm proof, and serial number on slide. Barrel with standard HK markings, serial number, and German nitro proof. Matching serial numbers on barrel, frame and slide. Normal markings on frame indicating manufacture by H&K, and import by Heckler & Koch Inc out of Sterling, Virginia. Magazine with "io" date code for 1997. CONDITION: Overall excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory finishes with some minor marks from handling and storage, mostly to polymer frame. Slide is excellent, showing only very slight handling marks; barrel has some thinning to finish at reciprocating areas. Frame with some handling marks and age related debris which may respond to a careful cleaning. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent, bright and shiny. HK stopped importing the two-tone variants in 2004 and they are very difficult to find. EMW
