1 of only approximately 700 "Tasmanian Devil" SAP pistols manufactured by Australian Automatic Arms and imported into the United States shortly before the U.S. assault weapons importation ban. The left side of the receiver is stamped "IMPORTERS / KENDALL INTER. ARMS / PARIS. KENTUCKY / U.S.A." followed by the safety selector markings, with "AUSTRALIAN AUTOMATIC ARMS CAL 5.56 / MADE IN AUSTRALIA" above the serial number on the right side. Metal components exhibit matte black and gray enamel finishes, with the furniture being comprised of black polymer. 1 OKAY Industries 30-round magazine is included, that is a snug fit in the magazine well. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory applied finish, exhibiting some nicks and marks, a couple spots of minor flaking, as well as some superficial marks from storage and handling overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Polymer furniture is excellent overall, with some adhesive present on the left side of the pistol grip. A very nice example of a scarce Australian manufactured rifle, that was imported just before the 1989 assault weapons import ban. MLW
