Lot consists of: (A) Argentine Model 1898 Artillery Sword. Standard M898 configuration with slightly curved blade, deep stopped fuller, and one piece metal grip. Manufactured by Weyersberg & Kirschbauam & Co. and is marked as such on the obverse ricasso. Proof mark on spine and numbered on "2668" on the grip. Crest and inscription inside the fuller have been ground off, which is not uncommon with these swords. Complete with metal scabbard. CONDITION: Blade remains bright and is well preserved in cosmoline. Guard and scabbard exhibit a matching chocolate patina. Overall very good. (B) Austrian M-1849 Kammerbuchse Sword Socket Bayonet. Illegible numbers and markings. CONDITION: Dark patina with spotting and pitting. Overall fair. (C) Swiss Model 1914 Pioneer sawback bayonet. Standard 1914 configuration with deep fuller and sawback spine. Marked "WAFFENFABRIK / NEUHAUSEN" on the ricasso and numbered "700801" on the guard. Wood grip scales. First equipped with leather scabbards which were later replaced by steel scabbards in 1938. This example is complete with the later steel scabbard. CONDITION: Blade is bright with crisp markings. Handling wear evident on the grip scales. Scabbard retains most of its original finish with a few small dents. Overall very good+.
